DVD文件制作流程（來自sun官方）：
After downloading and unzipping segments, follow these instructions:
Reconstruct the full DVD image, by using the cat command (UNIX systems) or the COPY command (Windows systems).
The correct syntax is:
-cat file1 file2 file3 file4 file5 > file.iso or
-copy /b file1 + file2 + file3 + file4 + file5 file.iso

Solaris是一份計算機操作系統(tǒng)，它是由Sun Microsystems所開發(fā)和擁有的Unix變體。早期的版本基于BSD UNIX并且被稱為SunOS。后來，SunOS 5切換至基于System V的代碼，并更名Solaris 2以示標(biāo)志。之前的版本就被追溯命名為Solaris 1.x。在2.6版本后，Sun去掉了名字中的"2."。Solaris由SunOS UNIX的基礎(chǔ)操作系統(tǒng)加上一份圖形用戶環(huán)境組成。Solaris主要被設(shè)計為在SPARC處理器上運行。還有一個稱為Solaris x86的版本，它運行于PC機上。盡管以很多個開放標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為基礎(chǔ)，Solaris并不按自由軟件授權(quán)，而是有專利權(quán)的產(chǎn)品。盡管如此，二進制及源碼版本都可以在各種時期免費下載。
